Over the past few months I’ve been struck by how much joy and wonderment the Little Miss finds in life.  What we, as adults, often see as small or unexceptional, she finds absolutely fascinating.  And as she grows and becomes more and more (and more and more…) mobile, her excitement grows as well!

Here are some of our Little Merrymaker’s latest adventures.  Suffice to say, if she’s not sleeping, she’s exploring with a big grin on her face and a twinkle in her pretty blue eyes.

Going to Duke Gardens…

The minute we took her out of the stroller and placed her on the picnic blanket, she was off!

I kept thinking she’d get scared or tired, and turn back around.  But no.  The kid is fearless!  If not for Nena walking over to explore with her, I think the Little Miss would have crawled all the way to Duke Chapel.

Playing in the backyard with Teddy…and finding all sorts of interesting things to eat.  Other “munchies” of late that the Little Stinker has found when Mama wasn’t looking include toilet paper, magazines and plastic cup lids.  Can I chalk it up as extra fiber?!

Playing “fort” under our new dining room table…and getting a wee bit stuck.  Getting in is no problem.  Getting out?  Well, we’re not there just yet.

Though she wears us out sometimes, our Little Lady is nothing short of a joy to be around…And a wonderful reminder of all of the FUN that can be had in life, if only we take the time to look for it.
