1st Month (July 9 – August 8, 2010)
7/10 – Visits at hospital from Nena, Pops, Fielding Arnold, and Uncle Paul
7/11 – Came home (8lb 6oz)
7/13 – 1st doc appointment (8lb 8oz), 1st bath
7/15 – Visit from Grammie and Poppy
7/16 – 1 week doc appointment (8lb 14.5oz, 21.5in)
7/19 – 1st walk in the stroller
7/24 – Visit from Aunt Ashley
7/27 – Visit from Lindsay Jordan and family
7/30 – Visit from Uncle Adam and Aunt Erin
7/31 – Big smile for Mommy, family dinner with Ethan, Luke, and other Wrights
8/3 – Big smile for Daddy
8/5 – Visits from Michael and Naomi Skena, and Grammie and Poppy
8/6 – Surgery for Mommy
8/8 – Special morning with Grammie so Mommy and Daddy can go to church

2nd Month (August 9 – September 8, 2010)
8/9 – 1 MONTH OLD!  Visit from Skyler McGee
8/12 – 1 month doc appointment (11lb 3 oz at 95%, 23 in at 97%)
8/17 – Visit from Remya Narayanaswami
8/20 – Visit to Duke and Daddy’s work
8/22 – Big smiles and coos when Mommy sings “Itsy Bitsy Spider”
8/23 – Daddy starts his paternity leave, 1st laugh
8/26 – Stood without help on Mommy’s lap (feet on lap)
8/27 – Rolled to her side
9/1 – 2 month doc appointment
9/2 – Trip to Delaware to visit Grammie and Poppy
9/3 – Met Aunt Laura and Uncle Jon, and Merrick and Gerald McSwiggan
9/4 – Met Great Aunt Pinky and Great Uncle Bob, 1st trip to the beach
9/8 – 1st plane ride to San Diego to visit Nena and Pops

3rd Month (September 9 – October 8, 2010)
9/9 – 2 MONTHS OLD!
9/10 – Met Kristy, Dallin and Graham Haight
9/11 – Slept through the night (8 hours)
9/13 – Trip to Balboa Park
9/14 – Trip to Pacific Beach
9/15 – Plane ride home
9/16 – Visited Washington, DC and Alexandria, VA
9/17 – Drove back to Delaware
9/18 – Trip to Lewes Beach
9/20 – Drove home to NC and hated the car ride!
9/21 – Met Cohen Mugford
9/22 – Met Mommy and Daddy’s Bible Study group
9/26 – Met Molly Skena
9/27 – Sat up from pillow and rolled onto side
9/28 – Failed crib training
10/1 – Rolled on side completely
10/6 – Reached for and grasped stuffed animal
10/7 – Used hands and feet to play with animals
10/8 – Slept the night in crib

4th Month (October 9 – November 8, 2010)
10/9 – 3 MONTHS OLD!  Responded to name.  Grasped animal and stuck in mouth.
10/14 – Rolled on side and spun around
10/15 – Met Godparents, Martha Berg and Jeff Kraus.  Nena and Pops also arrive for visit.
10/16 – Duke Gardens picnic with Wrights, Plaxicos, and Godparents
10/17 – Baptism at All Saints Church, didn’t make a peep!
10/19 – Grabbed feet with hands
10/20 – Rolled over completely (back to belly)
10/23 – Visit to farm and pumpkin patch
10/28 – Reached for and shook rattle
10/29 – 1st real giggle
10/30 – Started sucking thumb (just like Daddy did)
10/31 – A ladybug for Halloween
11/1 – Grabbed Mommy’s face
11/2 – 4 month doc appointment (16lb 6.5 oz at 90%, 24.75 in at 90%, 41.5 cm head circum at 75%)
11/4 – Gave slobbery kiss
11/5 – 1st playgroup with Molly Skena and Cohen Mugford.  Visit from Aunt Ashley.
11/8 – Slept for first time without swaddle, and on tummy (scary for Mommy!)

5th Month (November 9 – December 8, 2010)
11/9 – 4 MONTHS OLD!
11/13 – Rolled 360 degrees around!
11/14 – Lots of rolls!
11/19 – Pushing up on arms and legs
11/23 – Cut 1st tooth (bottom middle right)
11/25 – 1st Thanksgiving
11/28 – Transferred object between hands
12/1 – Cut 2nd tooth (lower mid)
12/4 – 1st snowfall

6th Month (December 9, 2010 – January 8, 2011)
12/9 – 5 MONTHS OLD!
12/10 – Started scooting backwards
12/17 – Doing baby push-ups on toes
12/18 – Reached for Mommy to hold her
12/19 – Mimicked Mommy’s voice
12/21 – Pushed up on knees
12/23 – Roadtrip to Annapolis to visit Nena, Pops, and Uncle Will
12/15 – 1st Christmas
12/26 – Met Cousin Haley, Emily, and Caleb
12/28 – Roadtrip to Grammie and Poppy’s in Delaware
12/31 – 1st New Year
1/1 – Roadtrip home to NC

7th Month (January 9 – February 8, 2011)
1/9 – 6 MONTHS OLD!  1st try of solids (rice cereal)
1/10 – 1st drink of water from a sippy cup
1/11 – Tried out applesauce
1/12 – Made “G” sound (“guh”)
1/13 – Tried out bananas
1/18 – Sat up on own
1/20 – 1st trip to the park (swings and slide)
1/22 – Hit drums
1/26 – 6 month doc appointment (>97% for height and weight, 75% for head circumference)
1/29 – Finally actually liked some solid food – avocados!
2/7 – Liked yogurt

8th Month (February 9 – March 8, 2011)
2/9 – 7 MONTHS OLD!  Liked broccoli!
2/14 – 1st Valentines’ Day
2/18 – Getting mobile – belly-flop scooting across the floor
2/23 – Visit from Jeni Healy
3/1 – Tried out Indian food
3/2 – Ate a puff
3/4 – 1st time sharing a toy…with Poppy!

9th Month (March 9 – April 8, 2011)
3/9 – 8 MONTHS OLD!
3/17 – Roadtrip with Mommy and Pops to Annapolis
3/18 – Roadtrip with Mommy, Pops and Nena to Philly.  Met Cousin Liam.
3/19 – 1st claps
3/20 – Roadtrip to Annapolis
3/21 – Visit with Joanne Roby and Andrew Kong
3/22 – Visit with Kerry and Caedmon Wilson, and Danielle and Adele Fuller in Falls Church, VA
3/23 – Roadtrip back to NC
4/7 – Stood up at play table (with help)

10th Month (April 9 – May 8, 2011)
4/9 – 9 MONTHS OLD!
4/11 – 1st attempt at crawling
4/12 – Pulled up on knees
4/14 – Backyard picnic with Mommy and Teddy
4/21 – Visit from Nena and Pops.  4-year anniversary for Mommy and Daddy.
4/24 – 1st Easter
4/26 – Pulled up onto feet
4/27 – Visit from Grammie and Poppy
4/28 – Roadtrip to Annapolis and Washington, DC (saw Nena, Pops, Aunt Laura and Uncle Jon)
5/1 – Visit from Aunt Ashley and family
5/7 – Shared cheerios and fed Mommy

5/9 – 10 MONTHS OLD!
5/18 – Said Mamama…. and Dadadada a lot
5/21 – Visit from the Sewall family
5/26 – Roadtrip to DC with Mommy
5/31 – Visit new Cousin Madeline in the hospital.  Visit from Grammie and Poppy.

6/10 – 1st read word – “HI Dadda!”
6/17 – Visit from Nena and Pops
