A Family Bonanza

Over the past few weeks we were blessed to have the help of both sets of grandparents as we acclimated to being a family of four (which includes one very cute Little Family Member who prefers nighttime cuddle sessions to actual sleep).  Nena and Pops (Plaxico) stayed with us for the first few weeks (before and after the birth)…

The Little Miss and Nena baking and decorating cookies for Mommy and Daddy.
And by “decorating” I mean Nena spreading on frosting and the Little Sweet Tooth
eating it.  All of our cookies had mysterious little finger prints on them.
But they were still delicious!

…And Grammie and Poppy (Wright) stayed with us for another week.

SMOOCH!

The Little Miss and Little Mister loved all of the attention and cuddles, and Mommy and Daddy appreciated the support and opportunities for (baby-free) naps.

But that’s not all!  Our two little ones were also able to enjoy fun times with ALL of their cousins!  We had a special visit from Ethan, Luke, and Madeline (plus their chauffeurs…I mean parents, Paul and Courtney) at the hospital.  And we also had a great visit from Haley, Emily, Caleb, and Liam (plus their parents, Ashley and Joe) on their way home from the beach!

The Plaxico Cousins…almost all looking in the same direction!

It’s been a family bonanza!  We’ve loved seeing them all, and having the chance to introduce everyone to our sweet Little Mister.  I’m not so sure that he was awake (or aware) for much of it, but I am confident to say that he (and his Big Sis) are very LOVED!

To Nena, Pops, Grammie, and Poppy… THANK YOU for all of the help and support!  You are the best!
