The Little Miss and Little Mister’s Daddy turned another year older on June 9th.

I think I can speak for him in saying that we’ve had a GREAT year,
complete with the birth of our son (and a lot less sleep),
growth of our daughter (and a lot less sanity),
and a family FULL of love and blessings.

We had a great day celebrating their Daddy-O!

Thanks to the tireless efforts of his loving, devoted, early-waking, hard-working Wife,*
the day was full of yummy meals, presents galore, and family fun!

*The Writer of this post “may” be somewhat biased.
**The Writer “may” have also usurped the birthday sign made by said Daddy for her own purposes
…with a few minor “edits,” of course.

The Little Miss “let” him watch her open his presents.
No surprise, she has quite a talent for tearing into them!

Both kiddos were very excited to celebrate their Daddy,
so long as lots of tickles and cuddles were involved.

 Grammie and Poppy came over in the evening to celebrate with us too!

(I promise Poppy was there as well…he just had lots of photography and
book-reading-to-a certain-Little-Miss-Bookworm duties to attend to)

In honor of Daddy’s love for all things peanut butter and chocolate, I made this delectable treat.

Let’s just say it went over quite well with the troops…
