Sisters

The other day the Little Miss was telling me all about how much she wanted a little sister.  Now I have a sister, who I love dearly and who has always played a major role in my life.  So I often think about how I wish my daughter could also have a sister to walk with through life.

But.

After having 3 kids in under 4 years I’m pretty sure that I (and my waning sanity) am DONE.  I am so thankful for my 3 sweet babies and feel great about moving forward together…and one day possibly digging myself out of the piles of diapers and baby gadgets that have taken over our home.

Must…Get…Air!!!

So.

I told the Little Miss that even though she doesn’t have an actual sister, we can thank God that she has THREE super-duper-awesome girl cousins – Haley, Emily, and Madeline – who are just like sisters!  (And who don’t require me to birth anymore babies or change anymore diapers.  Score!)

Though Haley and Emily live way too far away in Philly, we’re blessed that Maddie lives nearby in Raleigh.

How we love Maddie!

Put the Little Miss and Maddie together and you get quite a pair, who are always up to all sorts of mischief and silliness.

In the Wright family the boys outnumber the girls, but that doesn’t stop these two Little Precocious Princesses.  Together, they are a (cute) force to be reckoned with…and have enough personality (and sass) for a whole truckload of boys.

So in the words of the Little Miss, whenever her little brothers get in her way or try to steal her spotlight…

GO GIRLS!

And HOORAY for cousin-sisters!
