Merry Christmas Eve!

Merry Christmas Eve, y’all!

Wishing you peace, hope, and JOY!

The people who walked in darkness
have seen a great light;
those who dwelt in a land of deep darkness,
on them has light shone…
For to us a child is born,
to us a son is given;
and the government shall be upon his shoulder,
and his name shall be called
Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God,
Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.
Of the increase of his government and of peace
there will be no end,
on the throne of David and over his kingdom,
to establish it and to uphold it
with justice and with righteousness
from this time forth and forevermore.
The zeal of the Lord of hosts will do this.
Isaiah 9: 2, 6-7

Nena suggested this photo location.  We’ve all agreed to entitle it:

“Awkward”
Medium: Goofy smiles on a digital canvas. With deer.

And then on to church!

(Ending with a fire-breathing contest, apparently)

Dear Lord, please let masks be done and gone next year!!!

We headed home for dinner afterwards, and it was yummy!

Crock pot for the win, again.  And mashed potatoes with sooooooo much butter and cream cheese.

Then ready for bed.

No homemade cookies this year, Santa.  Sorry.  The reason?…Life.

But we’re sure excited for tomorrow!!!!

The Little Sir’s wishlist hit 4 pages this year.  I’m not sure if Santa’s sleigh is big enough to hold all of his hopes and dreams… 🙂

And that’s a wrap.

Merry Christmas Eve from the Wriggity Wrights!!!!

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through him, and without him was not any thing made that was made. In him was life, and the life was the light of men. The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.

There was a man sent from God, whose name was John. He came as a witness, to bear witness about the light, that all might believe through him. He was not the light, but came to bear witness about the light.

The true light, which gives light to everyone, was coming into the world. He was in the world, and the world was made through him, yet the world did not know him. He came to his own, and his own people did not receive him. But to all who did receive him, who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God, who were born, not of blood nor of the will of the flesh nor of the will of man, but of God.

And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we have seen his glory, glory as of the only Son from the Father, full of grace and truth. (John bore witness about him, and cried out, “This was he of whom I said, ‘He who comes after me ranks before me, because he was before me.’”) For from his fullness we have all received, grace upon grace.
