Time to Par-Tay!

It’s hard to believe, but our Little Miss turned TWO on July 9th.  Her birthday turned into more of a birth-month, as our Little Party Animal asked Daddy and me to sing the “Happy Birthday” song as least 10 times a day…not just to her, but also to her friends, family, animals, toys…you name it.  I even found myself singing to her sandals during one particularly fussy drive home.  Desperate times call for desperate measures, people!

Here’s our Little Princess, ruling the roost in her birthday party dress.

To ring in the Little Gal’s birth in style we hosted a crazy-fun party with some of her best buddies.  We were able to pull off this feat with the wonderful help of Nena and Pops (Plaxico), and Uncle Adam and Aunt Erin (Wright).

The Little Birthday Girl and her friends had a blast, splashing around in our kiddie pool (what’s not to love about a pool that is in the shape of a giraffe?!), popping bubbles, shooting water guns, and chowing down on yummy cupcakes.

Here are photos from the backyard fun…

And then the eating commenced!  As the Executive Chef, baking for a toddler who likes anything sweet, I reserved the right to choose the flavor of the cupcakes.  Hence, the Little Miss and her pals were served chocolate cupcakes, which boasted oreos on top, in the frosting, and hidden in the middle.  It was a decadent and delicious overload of sweet yummy goodness!

It was a great day spent with great people.  We are so thankful for all of the love these wonderful family and friends poured out upon our Little Miss on her birthday!  (And for Josh Mugford taking photos of the event for us!)

Happy 2nd Birthday, sweet girl!

Such a fun party for such a sweet girl! Cohen (and maybe his mom, too) now defines a great cupcake by the oreo goodness you made. The bar has been set high!

Oh, I want one of those cupcakes! You had me and Jeff when you described the Oreo on top, in the frosting and hidden in the middle. Were they as scrumptious as they sounded? Hmm, Hmm good.
