Oh how I love my Littles. Especially when we’re nearing Halloween and I can dress them up in silly costumes and cover them in smooches.
Like this Little Guy…
Or just like these two…
DO YOU THINK THEY’RE RELATED?!?!
Maybe just a tad.

Halloween was a big deal at our house this year. I am sure you can guess why…
Costumes + Candy + Freedom to Run Like Mad Around the Neighborhood = 2 Happy Toddlers
Or more like…
= 1 Ecstatic Fairy Ballerina and 1 Excited (Albeit Somewhat Confused) Bumblebee
We ate a few bites of dinner (emphasis on few in the 3-year-old department), made the kids take a bunch of photos (all with the tantalizing promise of candy at the end),
and then waited for our pals the Mugfords to arrive so we could TAKE OVER the neighborhood.
Waiting is so hard. Especially when candy is at stake.
But arrive they did. And when the kids were released it was a moment of PURE JOY.
See what I mean?
The Little Miss and Cohen ran the entire route! She even amassed so much candy that she had to dump it into the stroller periodically. The Little Mister traveled through most of the neighborhood on his handy-dandy bike, and enjoyed waving and saying “Hi!” and “Happy!” to all those we passed by.
All the while his candy may have been eaten by a couple of adults (when he wasn’t looking). But I ain’t naming names.

Determined to stuff even more sugary treats into our bellies, we also enjoyed some Halloween festivities the weekend before with the Wright cousins.
Thanks to Grammie, the kids had a ball painting pumpkins,
playing games,
and (with the help of Uncle Adam) being wild and crazy!
Halloween is so fun. The Little Miss and Mister think we should all dress up in costumes everyday!
Hey folks, it’s me…the Little Miss. Or based on this year’s Halloween (read my last post), the Little Bumblebee.
Halloween was a blast because I got to party like a Little (Bumblebee) Rockstar for not just one weekend, but TWO! That’s right…Grammie and Grandpop visited us the weekend before and threw my cousins (Ethan, Luke and Madeline) and me a spooky-fun Halloween party.
The party was so neat! We dressed up…
Note from Mommy: Many attempts were made to get a good photo of the kids together in their costumes, however, one Little Someone could not be contained
Played games…
Hunted for and painted pumpkins…
…And then Ethan (I mean, “Captain Rex”) shot Grandpop!
Okay, I’m kidding…I just wanted to make sure you were paying attention. 🙂
But that’s not all! Grammie and Grandpop stayed for a big sleep-over at my house and played with me all weekend. Don’t you just love it when you have grandparents around who will satisfy your every whim and desire?!?
Yep, that’s the good life.
Three cheers for grandparents! And three cheers for Halloween!
