The Little Mister is 5 months old! (+ eating solids & army-crawling!)

Our sweet Little Man turned 5 months old today!

So…what did we do to celebrate, you wonder?!?

Well, we took a video of his new army-crawling skills (just like his Big Sis, this Little Kid is super active and ready to MOVE!)…

Type in “wright” to watch the videos

(Oh, and also like his Big Sis, he is a wee bit vocal.  Can you tell?!?)

AND…

We let him enjoy his first taste of solid food!

(Hope you enjoyed the live commentary by the Little Miss.  She’s a Little-Newscaster-In-Training…and we think she’ll be a big success, so long as she can keep her attention on the subject matter for longer than a few seconds! :))

I wanted to wait until he was 6 months old to start solids, but he always looked so darn interested in whatever we were eating.  So we went for it, and the Little Mr. Eater seemed quite pleased!

Happy 5 months, Little Mister!

Guess who has TEETH now?!

That’s right!  Our Little Stud Muffin cut not one, but TWO teeth this week.  His first teeth ever!

And here’s another photo, just ’cause I think he’s a (Little) Cutie Pie…

Sure, you can’t see his new teeth in this one, but his eyes sure are gorgeous.

Here’s hoping that this new milestone begins a long life of happy, healthy, and straight pearly whites for our Little Chomper!

And may he never know the Orthodontist Chair as intimately as his Mama did…

The Little Mister’s Baptism

We enjoyed the most wonderful (and jam-packed!) weekend in early October, celebrating the Little Mister’s baptism (Oct. 7).  The event was made extra special because we were joined by many of our family and friends, including the Little Guy’s Godparents, Aunt Ashley and Uncle Joe (plus Haley and Emily, cousins-extraordinaire)!

And we were blessed to be able to have our sweet Little Mister baptized at All Saints Church by our pastors and dear friends, Thomas and Brad.  I was nervous that my Little Mr. Sensitive would cry during the ceremony, but he was a (Little) Angel!  He was totally serene and relaxed throughout, as if he understood what a momentous occasion it was…

(Marked as Christ’s own forever, by Bishop Terrell Glenn)

The baptism was the creme filling of one great-big-family-party-cookie!  We had a blast hanging out with Nena, Pops, Aunt Ashley, Uncle Joe, Haley, and Emily from the Plaxico side…

(Just missing Uncle Will, and Cousins Caleb and Liam)

(Saturday night’s surprise birthday dinner for Pops, Aunt Ashley, and Cousin Haley)

And ALL of the grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins from the Wright side!  …That’s Poppy, Grammie, Uncle Paul, Aunt Courtney, Uncle Adam, Aunt Erin, Uncle Jon, Aunt Laura, and Cousins Ethan, Luke, and Madeline.

The Little-Man-of-the-Hour soaked up all of the lovin’ he received from his fan club…

And the Little Miss was tickled pink to be given the “princess treatment” by her older cousins, Haley and Emily!

Suffice to say, it was a fun, crazy, busy, BLESSED weekend.  Praise God for great family, great friends, and sweet Little Boys!

We love you, Elliott Michael!

(We are so grateful to Nena and Pops for helping us host this crazy-fun weekend.  And we can’t thank our friends, Josh and Cristen, enough for taking photos of the baptism and for hosting some of our family while they were in town.  You guys are the best!!!)
