Last Day of School

My baby is growing up! (Sob!)

Here’s a photo from her last day of school.  And as a comparison, a photo from her first day.

M11M12

Do you see how much older her face looks after just a year?!?  She looks almost ready to grab the keys and drive off in my car!!!

Okay, not really.  But it is amazing how FAST the year flew by.  I feel like it was just yesterday I was preparing my Little Bookworm for her first day in the classroom…her first day away from Mama.

As we got our Little Miss ready for her big last day, we took a moment for a quick family photo.  (Three out of four smiles is pretty darn good for us these days.)

M23

Mike and I were able to spend much of the morning with our Little Gal at her school.

A few of her classmates were unable to be there for the last day, but the remaining (little) stalwarts were still able to party like Little (educated) Rockstars!

M13

And what last-day-of-2-year-old-preschool-class is complete without a mini graduation ceremony?

The kids listened and watched with rapt attention…

M15 M14

And then it was our Little Preschooler’s turn!!!

M16 M17

One of our Little Lady’s best buddies also “graduated” that morning.  We heart Connor.

M22

And then we wrapped up the ceremony with one big, huge, gigantic, slight chaotic, definitely emotional…

GROUP HUG!!!!

M18

M19

AND SHOWED OFF OUR FUNNY FACES!!!

M20

M21

It was a fun morning, topped off with a crazy school-wide picnic at the end.  We love preschool!

Now the question remains…What the heck am I gonna do with this kid over the summer?!?

Lord have mercy.

The Little Mister is 11 Months Old!

Our sweet Little Mr. Baby-Boo turned 11 months old today!

The monthly photo shoot didn’t start out all that well…

M7

But thankfully Big Sis came to the rescue!

M8 M9

It’s been an eventful month for the Little Guy.  He’s learned to clap and give high-fives (with gusto!).  And he loves to wave “bye-bye” to anyone who leaves our house (sometimes a little delayed, but we think it all adds to his charm).

Our Little Strong Man is also starting to stand on his own, and is cruising like a champ!

Here’s a video of his new cruising skills.
…With a bit of “encouragement” from the Little Miss (Competitive).
I guess it’s no surprise that she’s my kid, eh?

(Type in “wright” to watch the video)

He’s also becoming quite the Little Musician.  I just hope that he ends up choosing the route of a guitar or piano, rather than his current instrument of choice…

(Again, type in “wright” to watch the video)

It’s so crazy to think that in just one month our sweet Little Boy will be a year old.
Crazy.  Crazy.  Crazy.

We LOVE YOU, Little Mister!
