1 1/2 hour labor…my fastest yet!  Induced by Dr. Fetko and delivered by Emily the nurse because he came so fast…not even time to get an epidural!  The epidural cart was being rolled in as I pushed him out!  I had to induce a few days earlier than expected because the doctors were worried about my level of amniotic fluid (which included a stressful trip to the hospital after a snow storm to get a very uncomfortable hour-long ultrasound).

1st Month (February 18 – March 17, 2014)
2/18 – Visited at the hospital by Grammie, Nena, Pops, Annabelle and Elliott
2/19 – Released from the hospital weighing 8lb 7.5 oz
2/20 – First doc appointment, weighed 8lb 6.5 oz, Visited by Poppy
2/22 – Visited by Uncle Paul, Aunt Courtney, and cousins Ethan, Luke and Maddie
2/24 – 1 week doc appointment, weighed 9lb (83%), height of 21.8 inches (99%), head circumference of 36 cm (78%)
2/28 – Ultrasound at Duke Hospital to check out sacral dimple – all perfect and healthy!
3/2 – Visited by Uncle Adam and Aunt Erin
3/4 – Grammie spent the night to help out
3/17 – 1 month doc appointment, weighed 11lb 13.5oz (93%), height of 23.5in (>99%), head circum of 37.7cm (67%)

2nd Month (March 18 – April 17, 2014)
3/24 – 1st smile!
4/1 – 4/3 – Nena in town to help out
4/15 – 1st roadtrip to Annapolis.  Slept soundly and was a great traveler!
4/16 – 1st coos!  With lots of smiles.

3rd Month (April 18 – May 17, 2014)
4/20 – Met Aunt Laura and Uncle Jon
4/22 – Ticklish!
4/23 – 2 month doc appointment, weighed 14lb 8 oz (88%), height of 25in (>99%), head circum of 40 cm (71%)
4/24 – Sucking fingers.  Met (and visited by) Uncle Will.
5/8 – Grabbing toys overhead
5/12 – Sucking on fist

4th Month (May 18 – June 17, 2014)
5/18 – Baptism!  At All Saints Church, officiated by Thomas Kortus and Brad Acton.  Attended with Nena, Pops, Grammie, Poppy, Paul and Courtney family and Adam and Erin.  Adam and Erin are the Godparents.
5/21 – Sleeping through the night
5/23 – Scooting forward on belly
5/27 – Rolling onto side
5/28 – Rolled tummy to back
6/7 – Rolled back to belly
6/10 – Sticking out tongue
6/14 – 6/21 – Nena visiting (and Daddy away on a work trip to Boston)
6/17 – Grabbing toes

5th Month (June 18 – July 17, 2014)
6/22 – Attend first birthday party…for Annabelle and Elliott!  At Little Gym.
6/23 – 4 month doc appointment, height of 27.5 inches (>99%), weight of 17lb 4.5oz (82%), head circum of 42.5 cm (73%)
6/24 – 1st laugh!
6/27 – 7/6 – 1st trip to the beach, Emerald Isle.  Accompanied by Nena, Grammie and Poppy.
7/5 – Laughing and audible “ha” with Poppy’s tickles
7/6 – Sleeping out of the swaddle for full sleep training.  Cut 1st tooth (mid bottom left).
7/10 – Cut 2nd tooth (mid bottom right)

6th Month (July 18-August 17, 2014)
7/22 – 7/27 – Roadtrip to Annapolis
7/28 – Pushed up with straight arms
8/3 – 1st solids!  Bananas
8/7 – Loves trying applesauce
8/11 – 6 month doc appointment, height 28.5 inches (>99%), weight 19 lb, 12.5 oz (89%), head circumference: 43.7 cm, (67%)
8/14 – Pushed up on hands and knees
8/22 – Cut 3rd tooth (top middle, left)

7th Month (August 18-September 17, 2014)
8/28 – Cut 4th tooth (top mid right)
9/4 – Using pincher fingers to pick up puffs
9/16 – Sat up on own

8th Month (September 18-October 17, 2014)
9/29 – Cut 5th and 6th teeth (top left and right, to the sides of the middle teeth…4 on top now)
10/2 – Crawl/scooching all over the house
10/7 – Saying “bah bah bah”
10/14 – 1st real crawl!

11/3 – Pulled up to stand on own
11/5 – 9 month doc appointment, height of 30.25 inches (>99%), weight of 22lb 5.5oz (91%), head circum of 45.5cm (71%)

2/23 – Annual dog appointment: height of 35.75 inches (89%), weight of 28lb 1oz (51%), head circum of 48.5cm (45%).  Steady growth means he will grow to be 6’2″ (though I think he’ll be taller).
