After putting it off, and putting it off…
and then scheduling an appointment…
and (of course) forgetting said appointment…
and finally having to hide the growing mullet with high collars and interesting hairdos…

It finally happened.

My third-born…my last baby…my Little Sir

got his first haircut.

Well, the Little Mister actually went first to give his Little Bro a bit of encouragement.

And then it was time.

True to form, the Little Sir was totally chill about the entire experience.  He hopped up into the chair, put on his game face, and got down to business.

Lollipop licking, book reading business that is.

With a sweet new “do” on the side.

He didn’t even flinch.

Well, he also didn’t even crack a smile…until he got some tickles and cuddles from Daddy…

And had a wrestling match with Big Brother…

 And showed off his “Big Boy!” muscles and dance moves…

And got some wine for Mommy.

Oh wait, maybe that just made me smile.

But you never know.

The Little Sir is one sweet, thoughtful, DAPPER Little Guy!

It’s me.  The Little Sir.

Guess what I did on August 18?  Turned 18 months old, that’s what!

Yeah, it’s pretty sweet.

Chocolate-y delicious sweet, I mean.

Now that I’m (over) 1 1/2 years old, I’ve become quite the independent Lil Fella.

With lots on my mind and even lots more to say.

(In a jabber-mouth family like mine, it’s a must!)

And I can’t wait to grow-up even more so that I’ll be able to do EVERYTHING
that my Big Sister and Big Brother can do.

Maybe even one day wearing some pants.  But let’s not get ahead of ourselves.

Mama says that my “drive” to keep up with the Little Miss and Little Mister
can make me a bit of a “handful” at times.

Whatever that means.

I think I’m just focused.

And adventurous.

But I’m not all business.

Nope, sometimes (most of the time) I like to just kick back and have FUN.

You know, channel my (Little) Inner Goofball and all.

Daddy likes to do that too.

And after all that’s said and done, I remain a pretty sweet Little Dude,

who is always Mommy’s special Little Cuddlebug.

And Daddy’s too!

(Though don’t tell my pals I said that…it might hurt my street cred.)
